They say absence makes the heart grow fonder.
I say absence romanticized everything.
Every text, every picture, every word and liner said – or those left unsaid.
Every moment spent together, every hours used up to miss each other, every hello and goodbye.
Every affectionate gesture and shy touches, every time our fingers intertwined and every rushed embrace before we reluctantly parted ways.
Absence romanticized every thoughts and memories, even the perception of your significant other and got you seeing them as the perfected version of they real self.
It is no wonder then that I favor the idea of a long distance relationship, probably more than others does.
After all, nothing beats the story of two star-crossed lovers.
À la mort,
And of course, there’s the beauty of being in a commitment without having to be tied down.
