Anxiety

He wakes up to an empty bed and anxiety enveloped him in an instant. He looks around in frantic motion, and sagged in relief when his lover walks out of the bathroom.

He pulls his confused lover for an embrace, the warmth calming his erratic mind and anxious heart.

The truth is, he could never get rid of the anxiety that one day, his lover would actually leave him to go home and build a life with his own spouse.
